Learn Everything You Can (Catch Up February)

This is another “catch up” post as I have been busy with the growing client demands at oneboxcloud.com

Here’s an update of what I do and explore this 2021 so far.

Quote/s I Ponder

  • “Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can – there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did.” – Sarah Caldwell

What I’m working on.

  • Business Process Automation Implementation – Cold storage company, fishing company, food distribution company, accounting firm, and more.
  • Sales Calls (Hot Leads) – University, Food, Car accessories distribution, computer and cellphone retail, electronics manufacturing, stock trading company, and more.
  • BPA Private Online Workshop – a retail startup, HMO, multi-branch dry cleaning service company, and a gas station business.
  • BPA online content – I’ve been squeezing in some time to produce more free content about business process automation for my podcast, YouTube and social media.
  • Music – This is the first time I am going to share this, but music production/recording is one of my passions since I was in high school. It was actually my first choice in college until my mom discouraged me (for which I am thankful). Anyway, I’ve been conceptualizing an online music studio featuring passionate artists, then eventually write songs again. Will share my musical journey in a dedicated post in the future.

Exercise/workout I try

  • Bought a squat rack with a pull up bar
  • Chris Hemsworth programs

Songs I listen and play

  • The Remedy by Jason Mraz
  • Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
  • Huling Sandali by December Avenue

Movies and shows I watch

  • The Office Season 7. This has been my sleeping aid in the past weeks.

Interesting YouTube videos I have been watching

  • Dr. Andrew Huberman – all about Neuroscience
  • Verbal fluency – just learned the FAS technique from this channel
  • Clubhouse app

New Ideas

From the title of this post, I have been contemplating the idea to motivate people more on learning new things. I started drafting my autobiography in 2015 or 2016 to tell my story especially on how I learned the business by trial-and-error. I then realized that outside business, I learned swimming on my own, I finished triathlon on my own, I learned major musical instruments on my own, still working on my singing but getting there, and many more. If people were only to realize that we only live once, then you might as well try and enjoy everything in the world as much as you can.

I deferred the book writing for a while now, but I am excited to write new chapters about learning. In any case, I plan to release my autobiography in my 50s or 60s the latest.

Another idea that came about recently is the need for an online community manager as this is something that I know that is required to grow our brand but I don’t have time doing. I am now talking to my daughter in helping me out in this aspect, hoping to hire her and help her learn in return.
