My Day in Life if Metaverse is Fully Available Today

As you know, Metaverse is the latest announcement of Meta (formerly Facebook). This post is not an explanation of Metaverse but an opinion of how I see I will use it when it is fully available.

My Mourning Routine

My morning starts with meditation, journaling, and reading current events. With Metaverse, I would wear the VR device and go to a bubble. I imagine there’s a wide selection of calm places where I can meditate and write a journal. I would choose a beach, a forest, or a winter landscape. Since sounds and music can easily be simulated, the sensation may be a constraint. A fan or an A/C can be a workaround though while listening to motivational morning affirmations or a podcast.

A serene virtual world can also help me be creative or write a new content just like this plus the Artificial Intelligence (AI) headline/content generators available these days.

Morning coffee with my significant other works now because we are together, but in the case when I am remote, we can have a coffee together via Augmented Reality (AR).

Since I have a home gym, I would subscribe to an AR fitness coach who will push me to my limits. A wide catalog of workouts and exercises are easily available these days which I always fail to complete if I do it by myself.

Luckily, I have a real-life coach at the moment who happens to be our neighbor. If he’s not available, then a real-time hologram fitness coach will help me push to complete workouts diligently.

Work Routine

I usually work on the highlights of my day the first thing which is now all about generating my personal content, ads management, filming, and editing.

The hassle part of filming is grooming and looking fresh in the video, turning on the gadgets, pointing the cameras and mic correctly, downloading the content and editing them.

With Metaverse, I would imagine I have an avatar of my brand. I’ll just wear my VR device, project my hologram teleprompter, start recording by voice command and edit them instantly via an Artificial Intelligence (AI) convert them into photo carousels or audio for podcast and post them to social media platforms automatically.

After my highlights, I usually to some deep work in our company, which are normally contract reviews/editing, team meetings which is a no-brainer default applications of a Metaverse.

Since our company offers ERP and other business applications, I would start the R&D for the Metaverse platform. One cool application is a voice command to post or approve a business transaction or review business performance via a hologram.

Even for leisure, movies, or gaming, these are also defaults.

Evening Routine

After work, I would turn to my musical instruments and study or record a song. Similar to highlights of my day, I would do the same process but this time, with my Fender Strat or my PRS. I would post my songs to NFT marketplaces and cross my fingers just like what I do now. If I get lucky, I’ll probably profit from them, but if not, then I will just try again.

If my motivation and creative brain triggers certain interest in something, then I would probably make some content about it too or sell them via NFT. VR or AR shopping has been in my radar more than a decade ago. I always believe this will come in reality in the future. Imaging holding the latest Air Jordan’s virtually or probably just buy it for your avatar.

My and my significant other love to go on a drive and go to fine places while drinking red wine. A drive for us is a good place to brainstorm and contemplate about our relationship and life in general. We’ve been generating great ideas in the car so a good VR simulation of the car drive with haptic feedback is an exciting way to end our day. Not to mention the safety of not “actually” driving.

We would drive to CA-1 in california and make a stop at Napa Valley virtually. Now I am getting more excited.

My eldest child is now in college and about 1.5 hours away from me. A quick VR/AR dinner date with her to catch up also sounds nice to me.

With these things being said, I still believe these things are not a requirement to be happier in life. Probably just a little augmentation of what we already have, a little convenience and excitement plus I think this is still a long shot. Happiness to me is still a mindset, an appreciation and contentment of what you already have.

In any case, I am not against Metaverse. Web 2.0 has now reached its maturity and its time for a little upgrade so people can be more productive hence more economic growth.
